I joined NaNoWriMo 2008 this year. Completely on accident, but I'm determined to do my best. Which probably won't amount to much. I'll post it after everything's over.

Item: Lace scarf
Author: Not me. See 'Pattern.'
Pattern: Can be found here.
Notes: Ah, I was planning to take a picture of mine, I swear, but I went to show my grandma and she thought I was giving it to her and I was totally FINE with that but . . . I hadn't taken a picture yet. So.
Comments: I LOVED this pattern! So simple and easy to memorize and knit and yet so cool-looking! And the first scarf I ever managed to finish! YAY!!

SNOW!!!!!!!!!!

So, I swore to myself that this journal would be strictly impersonal work and stuff but I just have to post about the snow! It's Texas, it's spring (March 6, 2008, to be exact) and it's SNOWING. Well, was snowing. And really heavily, too! The schools all shut down and we got to go home. We had, like, a snowstorm. In Texas. IN THE SPRING!! Cars were slipping and sliding all over the place. It's a sign of the apocalypse, I swear. We got something like six inches.

SNOW! )

More coming as soon as the non-digital pictures get developed and scanned!
